Neurofeedback Therapy & Trauma Psychotherapy
At The Well Balanced Mind, we believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. Our therapeutic services are designed to help our clients unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
We offer individual counseling and couples counseling in addition to neurofeedback therapy. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each of our clients.
We take a holistic approach to counseling, focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. Our therapist are trained in evidence-based techniques within trauma psychotherapy to help our clients achieve optimal mental health.
Lisa Glasser (they/she) is a licensed a professional counseling associate, neurofeedback specialist and acupuncturist.
They use Attachment Theory as a foundation with clients to explain developmental trauma while implementing IFS, EMDR and DBT to allow clients to regulate their nervous system in the here and now and out of a traumatic past.
Clients also have the option to implement Neurofeedback into their treatment plan as a means to balance the brain frequencies that are often dysregulated due to developmental trauma or PTSD and cause symptoms such as Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Inattentive and/or Hyperactivity.
In her practice, Lisa views the integration of both evidence based psychotherapy and neurofeedback to illicit the most effective results that restore clients to a balanced and fulfilling life.
Lisa is under the supervision of Joshua Bytendorp LPC.
